In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, Professor of Virology Mahjoub Al-Aouni confirmed that the situation at the national level is stable and no cases of this virus have been reported.
Aouni added that the Ministry of Health has taken all required preventive measures to monitor the development of the health situation in Tunisia and the world through different specialized centers.
The same source also revealed that the disease in general is spreading at a relatively slow pace in several other African countries, but in general, no sudden cases have been registered and the situation does not require special measures.
