The Presidency of the Republic announced, on Thursday, December 5, 2024, the designation of Morad Abdel Salam as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia.
The appointment decision was published in the Official Gazette, issue number 147, under Order No. 630 of 2024, dated December 3, 2024. It is worth noting that Fethi Zohir Al-Nouri currently holds the position of Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia.
Article 52 of the Organic Law No. 34 of 2016, linked to the Central Bank of Tunisia, stipulates that the Governor is assisted by a Deputy Governor who is directly under his authority, and the Governor assigns the Deputy to guarantee the proper functioning of the Central Bank’s services.”
