In Morocco, the average annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded an increase of 0.8% by the end of 2025 compared with 2024.
According to the High Commission for Planning (HCP), this rise was driven by a 0.8% increase in the food products index and a 0.5% increase in non-food products. Variations in non-food prices ranged from a 2.6% decline in the “Transport” category to a 3.3% increase in “Restaurants and Hotels.”
In its bulletin published today, the HCP indicated that the most significant increases in the annual CPI were recorded in the cities of Fez, Kénitra, Guelmim, and Settat.
