Murder of Tunisian Man in France: Testimony of His Sister, Who Was with Him on the Phone at the Time of the Murder

Following our article on Sunday, June 1, 2025, on the death of a 35-year-old Tunisian immigrant, victim of a racist crime in France, new information was revealed today regarding this incident, which has shocked all Tunisians living in Tunisia and Europe.

The sister of the victim, Tunisian Hichem, murdered by his neighbor for racist reasons, reported that her brother was killed at 10 a.m. on Saturday, following a conversation with her via video call.

She added in her testimony: “His phone fell during the call and he stopped responding. We were surprised to find him killed later by his neighbor.”

The sister said: “We couldn’t understand why my brother had been attacked. I asked my husband to go see him, but he told me to wait until morning.” »

She continued: “There is no tension or hostility with his neighbor, but my brother confirmed that the neighborhood is full of people who hate Arabs and foreigners.”

The French Ministry of Justice announced Sunday that a Frenchman killed his Tunisian neighbor Saturday evening in Beaugé-sur-Argens, in the southeast of the country, injuring another Turkish citizen, and posted two racist videos.

According to information published Monday by the BFM TV news channel, the accused posted two racist and anti-immigrant videos before and after the incident. In the first video, he indicated his intention to kill foreigners, then confirmed his actions in the second, which included violent clips.

He also paid tribute to Jean-Marie Le Pen, the late politician and far-right leader.

Police arrested the 53-year-old killer after receiving information from his partner as he attempted to flee in his car. An automatic pistol, a shotgun, and another pistol were found in his possession, according to the same source.
