The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) announced on Thursday that the withdrawal of its troops from Afghanistan “has begun.”
Earlier this month, the alliance agreed to pull out its forces from the war-torn country after United States President Joe Biden declared American troops will completely leave Afghanistan by September 11 and noted the withdrawal will be done in coordination with allies.
