According to the information reported, the Madrid club sent around 50,000 pages of documents to European football’s governing body in support of its request for sanctions against FC Barcelona.
Real Madrid is also reported to be seeking disciplinary measures against the Catalan club, while challenging the titles won by Barcelona between 2001 and 2017.
At this stage, however, these remain requests attributed to Real Madrid and do not constitute sanctions imposed by UEFA.
The European governing body is expected to continue reviewing the case before taking any possible decision.
The matter remains particularly sensitive from both a legal and sporting perspective.
The documents submitted and the requests made do not, in themselves, establish FC Barcelona’s responsibility, nor do they amount to a final decision regarding the titles won during the period in question.
