The deadline for submitting candidacies for the presidency of Olympique de Béja passed this afternoon without a single list being filed with the club’s management. This opens the door to new scenarios that could reshape the club’s leadership.
Meanwhile, the club’s management reported the sale of 87 memberships, confirming the keen interest of a significant number of supporters in taking part in the upcoming elective general assembly.
However, the absence of candidates up to the final moments may lead to a postponement of the assembly.
If no list is submitted before the legal deadline, it is likely that regional authorities will appoint a provisional committee to oversee the club’s affairs. This interim management would remain in place pending the start of the new sports season, scheduled for August 9, according to Tunisie Numérique’s correspondent in Béja.
