The number of people injured when a car drove into a crowd in Munich has risen to 27, Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Soeder confirmed at a Thursday press conference.
Meanwhile, in a series of tweets, the city’s police department said that two of those are in a serious condition and added it detained the person that was behind the wheel. In the meantime, Bild reported the person in question is a 26-year-old Afghan.
