The Director General of Competition and Economic Research at the Ministry of Commerce, Houcemeddine Touiti, confirmed that the prices of subsidized textbooks and notebooks were preserved during the current year.
He clarified in a press release that 8 million subsidized notebooks have currently been produced, double the quantities produced during last season.
He also revealed the launch of the distribution process for subsidized notebooks, which is monitored daily by the departments concerned.
The same source called on the departments concerned to receive supplies from regulated markets and to report any attempt at conditional sales and price increases.
