The ordinary general assembly of Olympique de Béja was held on the evening of Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in a private venue in Béja. After more than three hours of discussion, the moral and financial reports were not approved by the club’s members.
Originally scheduled as an electoral assembly, the meeting turned into an evaluative session due to the absence of candidates for the club’s presidency.
The financial report revealed a deficit of 418 thousand dinars, with revenues nearing 2.2 million dinars and expenditures totaling approximately 2.17 million dinars.
In addition, the club’s outstanding debts amount to 477 thousand dinars.
The executive committee called on the club’s supporters to remain calm, reaffirming its intention to convene a second electoral assembly within two weeks.
It also noted that a continued lack of candidates could lead to the appointment of a temporary management committee under the supervision of regional authorities, according to Tunisie Numérique’s correspondent in Béja.
