Ooredoo Tunisia, the leader in the telecommunications market in Tunisia, has officially signed the license deal for the deployment of 5G services in Tunisia, marking a turning point in Tunisia’s digital evolution. The ceremony, held at the Government headquarters in the Kasbah, was chaired by Prime Minister, Mr. Kamel Madouri, in the presence of the Minister of Communication Technologies Mr. Sofien Hemissi and Mr. Samir Abdelhafidh, Minister of Economy and Planning and the General Manager of Ooredoo Tunisia Mr. Mansoor Rashid Al-Khater.
This historic step reflects Ooredoo’s desire to soon introduce 5G technology in Tunisia. Thanks to ultra-fast speeds, increased reliability and innovative solutions, this advancement pledges to transform the digital uses of individuals, businesses and the country’s various economic sectors.
During his speech, Mansoor Rashid Al-Khater, CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia, stated: “With the award of this license, we reaffirm our leadership position and our absolute commitment to digital transformation in Tunisia. 5G will open new perspectives of innovation and progress for our customers and the entire country.
