Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas issued a decision declaring a state of emergency amid the coronavirus crisis which is growing through Palestine.
The state of emergency will be for a period of 30 days beginning Thursday. The state of an emergency involves forcing lockdowns and tightening coronavirus restrictions across Palestine.
Palestine recorded 18 deaths and 2,300 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kaila Thursday.
