Philippine- Taal volcano shuts down Manila

Schools and businesses shut crossed the Philippine capital Manila on Monday as a volcano emitted clouds of ash over the city and seismologists predicted an outburst could occur at any time, possibly triggering a tsunami.
Thousands of people were ordered to leave their homes throughout Taal, one of the world’s smallest active volcanoes, which scattered ash for a second day from its hole in the middle of a lake about 70 km south of central Manila.
Some tourists overlooked the risks and travelled to towns near to the volcano to get a better look.
