Mondher Mrabet, an engineer at the National Institute of Meteorology (INM), reported on national radio that climate disturbances will mainly impact northern Tunisia from the night of Saturday to Sunday, January 11.
The expert specified that the bad weather will start with rain in the north, before gradually spreading on Sunday to the centre and, locally, the south.
In addition to the rains, Mrabet added that a considerable drop in temperatures is expected, thus announcing a return of cold weather for the coming days.
