Presidential directive: Palestinian child transferred to Tunisia for medical treatment

The Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Cairo announced that Palestinian child Khalil Islam Khalil Abu Daqa, one of the civilian victims of the ongoing violence against the Palestinian people, departed on Sunday, March 1, 2026, to Tunisia for medical treatment.

The transfer was carried out under the directive of Kais Saied, President of Tunisia, as part of a humanitarian initiative aimed at assisting urgent medical cases.

The child will receive specialized medical care in a Tunisian healthcare facility equipped to provide the necessary treatment.

This initiative reflects Tunisia’s continued efforts to support the Palestinian people, particularly by offering medical assistance to injured civilians.
