He told the official news agency that this cost is explained by the organization of the presidential election in all of the electoral districts, unlike the legislative elections in which just the second round is organized in some constituencies. He stated that most of these funds go to the payment of agents and employees mobilized for this meeting.
 
Overall expenses linking to members of regional offices, agents and observers rise to 30% in the budget. Note that there are 42,000 agents in all the voting centres of the various governorates of the country, he added. Another part of the budget is given to the Ministry of National Defense, an amount of nearly 11 million dinars, based on an agreement concluded for the presidential election. The Interior Ministry affected 4 million dinars, according to him. 2 million dinars went to the Ministry of Education, since most of the voting centers are in schools … Another amount of some 7 million dinars was collected by the official printing of the Tunisian Republic.
