The second edition of the promotional and networking event dedicated to Tunisian olives and olive oil, titled “Tunisian Olive and Olive Oil Promotion Day”, will be held on January 29, 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya, according to an official source.
Event organized by Cepex and the Tunisian Embassy in Nairobi
The event is organized by the Export Promotion Center (Cepex) in cooperation with the Tunisian Embassy in Nairobi. It is designed as a key platform for Tunisian exporters of olives, olive oil and related derivative products, helping them explore new export opportunities in high-potential markets.
This initiative is part of a broader trade outreach effort, with a particular focus on the Kenyan market and, more broadly, East African countries, which are seen as promising destinations for Tunisian olive-based products.
Direct meetings with importers and sector stakeholders in Kenya
The event will offer participants an opportunity for direct meetings with leading food product importers in Kenya, as well as Kenyan bodies and institutions active in the olive oil sector.
The programme includes presentations highlighting the distinctive features and quality of Tunisian olive oil, along with the screening of a promotional film. It will also feature contributions from Tunisian olive oil exporters—in person or remotely—and a tasting session for olive oil and other products.
