Tunisia’s Minister of Tourism, Sofiane Tekkia, emphasized the need to use the holy month of Ramadan as an opportunity to enhance cultural and tourism activities in densely populated neighborhoods.
His remarks came during a meeting with a delegation from the Medina Festival Association, focusing on initiatives aimed at strengthening cultural tourism promotion and enriching the range of programs scheduled during Ramadan.
The minister stressed the importance of diversifying cultural offerings and ensuring representation of various artistic and creative expressions. He also highlighted the need for close coordination with the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and regional authorities to guarantee balanced distribution of events across different areas.
