Regularisation and recruitment: site workers appeal to the Parliament Speaker

The Speaker of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People, Ibrahim Bouderbala, received on Friday, 12 December 2025 at Bardo Palace representatives of site workers from the first and second batches whose situations have not yet been regularized.

Two MPs present from Sousse and the Kalaâ Kebira area

The meeting was attended by Abdelkader Ammar, MP for the Sousse City – Sidi Abdelhamid constituency, and Moez Ben Youssef, MP for the Kalaâ Kebira – Sidi Bouali – Kondar constituency.

The representatives outlined their concerns regarding the regularization of their status through recruitment, pointing to the financial and social difficulties they are facing and which, they said, require special attention.

Request for parliamentary support with the relevant authorities

They also expressed hope that Parliament would intervene with the various relevant bodies to support their efforts to regularize their status, as part of strengthening the social role of the State.

For his part, Ibrahim Bouderbala said he understood these concerns, stressing Parliament’s commitment to follow up on the file and contribute to finding appropriate solutions, within the remit entrusted to MPs.
