The General Directorate of the National Guard reported the results of a directed security operation in the Kairouan region, aiming to fight disturbances to public security and track down wanted criminals. The following results were accomplished:
- 25 people were imprisoned, including one person with 32 active arrest warrants related to prison sentences totalling 61 years.
