Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov warned on Thursday that Russia will respond “military” in case the Pentagon’s plans to deploy long-range missiles in Germany materialize.
“Without nerves, without emotions, we will develop, first of all, a military response to the new threat,” the diplomat said, answering questions from the press on the sidelines of the X BRICS Parliamentary Forum. According to Ryabkov, the said plan is aimed “primarily at damaging the security” of the country and reflects a dramatic change in the situation and relations with NATO members, especially Germany and the US.
