The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Tuesday that eight military carriers departed from the country to Nagorno Karabakh, following the trilateral agreement of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia to put an end to the conflict in the area.
According to the official announcement, eight Il-76 planes are moving from the Ulyanovsk-Vostochny airfield transporting 1970 servicemen, 90 armored personnel carriers, and 380 units of other equipment that are to be deployed in the region.
Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had confirmed that Armenia agreed to stop the military clashes.
