The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, has called for the performance of the rain-seeking prayer (Salat Al-Istisqa) across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to a statement issued by the Royal Court, the prayer will be held on Thursday, 24 Shaaban 1447 AH, according to the Umm al-Qura calendar, corresponding to February 12, 2026.
The statement urged citizens to strengthen the values of solidarity and mutual support, assist those in need, and work for the common good, in the hope of receiving divine mercy and abundant rainfall.
