Iran has executed a second person detained amid widespread protests in the country, the state Mizan news agency declared on Monday. The individual was identified as Majidreza Rahnavar, arrested for killing two security force members in November and injuring four others.
The news agency claimed he was arrested on November 28 as he was trying to flee Iran. The regime carried out the first execution earlier this month, causing widespread condemnation in the West.
