Vegetables and fruits: generally stable prices
The prices observed for vegetables and fruits were as follows:
Green pepper: 2.9 dinars/kg
Tomato: 1.4 dinar/kg
Potato: 2.4 dinars/kg
Clementine: 1.9 dinar/kg
Pomegranate: 2.9 dinars/kg
Overall, these prices remain close to those recorded in recent weeks, with slight variations depending on availability and demand.
Red and white meat: contrasting price levels
For meat products, prices show a clear difference between red and white meat:
Lamb (Allouche): 50 dinars/kg
Chicken: 8.5 dinars/kg
Chicken escalope: 16.3 dinars/kg
Lamb remains among the most expensive items at the market, while chicken remains relatively affordable.
Seafood: a diversified offer
Seafood prices recorded on the market were:
Shrimp: 15 dinars/kg
Sea bream : 22 dinars/kg
Red mullet : 7 dinars/kg
Sea bass : 23 dinars/kg
The range of seafood remains varied, although prices continue to be influenced by the season, availability and fishing conditions.
