The Higher Institute of Biotechnology of Sfax is set to host an international conference on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, titled “From Olive to Oil… Towards Sustainable Production and Global Market Excellence.”
This scientific event aims to foster innovation within the olive oil sector and strengthen Tunisia’s presence in the global olive oil market.
The conference will bring together researchers, industry experts, and professionals from the agricultural and agri-food sectors to exchange expertise and explore new solutions to enhance the value chain, from the olive grove to the end consumer.
Participants will also discover the latest scientific research and innovations in the olive sector, alongside modern techniques that support sustainable production and elevate the quality of Tunisian olive oil.
The ultimate goal is to boost competitiveness and consolidate Tunisia’s standing among the world’s leading producers.
