The General Directorate of National Security announced that, following the spread of information on social media, a group of students allegedly assaulted one of their peers with a sharp object at Hussein Bouziane High School in Sidi H’ssine.
According to the same source, security units from the Sidi Hssine National Security District immediately responded to the scene. It was determined that an altercation had broken out between the victim and a female student from the same school.
Three other students intervened in an attempt to calm the situation, leading to a fight in front of the school’s main entrance, during which acts of violence were exchanged. One of the students was then wounded with a knife. He was urgently transported to the hospital, and his condition is now stable. The primary suspect, however, fled the scene.
Thanks to a series of investigations and testimonies from several individuals present at the scene, law enforcement was able to quickly identify the main suspect.
The suspect later turned himself in at the police station, accompanied by his father, and confessed to participating in the altercation as well as possessing a sharp object.
After consulting with the public prosecutor and reviewing the details of the investigation, it was decided to place the main suspect in police custody. The other individuals involved will remain under arrest pending their appearance in court. The investigation is ongoing.
