On Friday morning, January 17, 2025, Minister of Justice Leila Jaffal inaugurated the new offices for both the Sousse 2 Primary Court and the Misdemeanor Court in Sousse, in the attendance of the Governor of Sousse, judicial supervisors, the president of the regional bar association in Sousse, and a group of judicial and administrative officials from the courts and the regional justice administration in Sousse.
During the visit, the minister toured different spaces, offices, and courtrooms, underscoring the importance of preserving these significant accomplishments to enhance the quality of services provided to litigants, ensuring that they can handle their legal matters in the best and easiest possible conditions.
The minister stressed the efforts made by the ministry to improve and renovate the facilities under its jurisdiction in the Sousse governorate. She confirmed the ongoing implementation of several projects in the region, including the renovation of the Sousse Primary Court and the Misdemeanor Courts in Nefidia, Sousse, and Mahdia, as well as the Sousse Court of Appeal. Several projects have already been completed, and the ministry is keen on studying new projects to further support judicial facilities in the region shortly, according to the Ministry of Justice’s statement.
