Add TN as a preferred source on GoogleSahloul University Hospital in Sousse expects to receive 200 medical beds in October, out of a total of 313 beds purchased to meet the needs of its various departments. The delivery is part of the hospital’s equipment renewal programme, according to a statement issued by its management on Sunday.
Preparing for installation in patient rooms
Saturday’s meeting brought together the team responsible for visiting the hospital’s inpatient departments. Its task is to assess requirements for beds with two adjustment points ahead of their installation in patient rooms.
This process will help prepare for the October delivery and allocate the beds according to identified needs.
Hospital-funded equipment renewal
Funded through the hospital’s operating budget, the purchases aim to expand and renew its stock of medical beds.
According to hospital management, the equipment is expected to help improve the quality of care provided to patients during their stay. It should also support medical and paramedical staff in their daily work.
Plans for beds with specialised features
The hospital’s management also plans to work with the Ministry of Health to arrange the purchase of beds with specialised features for specialist departments, the statement said.
