The Spanish Royal Palace confirmed on Wednesday that King Felipe VI tested positive for the coronavirus and will self-isolate for a week after experiencing mild symptoms.
“His Majesty’s general state of health is good, and he will keep up his institutional activities from his residence,” the palace added in an official statement. Queen Letizia and their younger daughter Princess Sofia haven’t shown any COVID-19 symptoms yet, the statement concluded.
