Mid-October study day could help refine the bill
In an earlier exclusive statement to Tunisie Numérique, Mounir Kammouni, deputy chair of Parliament’s education committee, outlined plans under consideration for a study day dedicated to the bill in mid-October.
The aim is to draw on the event’s findings to further improve the text before proceeding with the remaining stages of its legislative passage.
Amendments remain possible during plenary debate
Kamouni also stressed that the proposal could still be amended at subsequent stages, including when it is debated in a plenary session.
“The plenary has the final say. We hope the final version of this law will live up to expectations and reflect the efforts that have gone into it,” he said.
