As part of his official visit to represent Tunisia at the opening ceremony of the Arab Cup Qatar 2025, Sadok Mourali, Minister of Youth and Sports, met on Sunday evening with members of the Tunisian sports community residing in Qatar.
According to the official social media page of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the meeting was held at the residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia in Doha, Farhed Khalif, in the presence of a group of Tunisian professionals including sports coaches, physical education teachers, university professors in sports sciences and sports medicine specialists, as well as representatives of the private sector active in the sports field.
In his remarks, the Minister of Youth and Sports praised the role of Tunisian professionals and their tangible contribution to strengthening the fraternal ties between Tunisia and Qatar, highlighting their efforts to build bridges of cooperation between athletes in the two brotherly nations.
He also expressed his great pride in seeing Tunisians abroad excel in various fields, particularly in sports and physical education.
On this occasion, the minister reaffirmed the Tunisian State’s commitment — in line with the directives of the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed — to listen to the concerns of the Tunisian community abroad, defend its interests and respond to its needs, while commending the active contribution of its members to the country’s development process.
