The grassroots union of agents and managers at Habib Bourguiba University Hospital (CHU) in Sfax announced the postponement of the strike initially planned for May 29, 2025. The strike is now rescheduled for Wednesday, July 23, 2025. This delay aims to provide additional time for negotiations to meet the staff’s demands and secure their rights and benefits.
Decision Follows Conciliation Meeting at Sfax Governorate
According to an official statement from the union, this decision comes after a conciliation session held the day before between the union delegation and the hospital administration at the Sfax Governorate headquarters. This meeting opened new opportunities to consider fulfilling the demands of the hospital staff.
