Support for Farmers and Strengthening Olive Sector: Kais Saïed Calls for Immediate Measures

President Kais Saïed held a meeting at the Carthage Palace with Prime Minister Kamel Madouri to examine the follow-up on government actions, especially the implementation of decisions made during the National Security Council held on November 4.

During the meeting, President Saïed underscored the necessity for immediate actions to ensure a successful olive harvest season, which is essential to protect the rights of farmers. He directed that direct financial support be provided to farmers.

In line with the support for the olive sector, Saïed stressed the importance of the role of the National Oil Office (ONH) and urged for the modernization of its storage capacity.

According to the President, the ONH, like other public establishments, has not undergone the necessary developments to effectively carry out its missions. He stressed the need for the office to be equipped with new resources to fully achieve its original objectives.
