A 26-year-old man arrested in connection to the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson has been charged with murder in New York, according to AP.

Manhattan prosecutors filed the charges late Monday, including murder and other offenses. Luigi Mangione, who was arrested in Pennsylvania, was initially taken into custody for gun possession, forgery and providing false identification.
