Tabarka Airport : Arrival of Pilgrims from Jendouba Governorate [Photos]

On the morning of Monday, June 16, 2025, Tabarka–Aïn Draham International Airport welcomed the return flight carrying pilgrims from the Jendouba governorate, arriving from the holy sites. A total of 259 pilgrims were on board, having completed the Hajj rituals for this year.

The reception ceremony was overseen by the Governor of Jendouba, Taïeb Dridi, who was accompanied by several regional officials, including the Delegate of Tabarka, the Secretary General of the new municipality of Tabarka, two members of the Assembly of People’s Representatives, the Airport Commander, the Head of the Border Police, the Head of the Customs Office, the Regional Director of Religious Affairs, and the Regional Directors of the National Guard, National Security, Civil Protection, State Property and Land Affairs, along with a number of other security and administrative officials.

The governor inquired about the health of the pilgrims and the conditions of their stay and travel, commending the smooth organization of the trip and the efforts made to ensure their comfort.

He also extended his heartfelt congratulations on their safe return, wishing them an accepted pilgrimage, commendable efforts, and forgiven sins.
