Tabassi Cautions Tunisian Families Against Borrowing for Expenses and Confirms Drop in Prices for Paper School Supplies [Video]”

Vice President of the Consumer Protection Organization, Thuria Tabassi, called on Tunisian families not to borrow to cover daily expenses or receive consumer loans because this kind of loan is difficult to get out of.

In a statement to Tunisia Numerique, Tabassi addressed the series of excessive expenses that families live with, particularly with the return to school, remarking that several school materials, including mainly paper materials, have seen a relaxation this year in terms of prices and are available in the markets in the required quantities, thanks to the united efforts of all the parties involved.

In the same context, she called for more efforts to put pressure on the prices of the consumer goods that the Tunisian citizen needs.

She emphasised that despite all this, the Tunisian citizen is today burdened with numerous expenses accompanying the return to school, especially with the spread of the phenomenon of school nurseries at all levels, stating that the Consumer Protection Organization will state the o school comeback on the average expenses of Tunisian families in this regard.
