The Assembly of the Representatives of the People approved on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Proposal No. 102, which concerns granting permanent status to cleaning workers employed under the budget of the Payment Agency of the Tunisian Post.
The decision was taken during the joint plenary session dedicated to continuing the vote on the additional articles of the 2026 Finance Bill.
A vote marked by contrasting positions
The vote highlighted differing positions within the chamber. The results were as follows:
60 votes in favor,
21 abstentions,
28 votes against.
This adoption represents an important step for the concerned workers, who have long faced precarious employment conditions.
