The director, actor, and journalist Ridha Azaiez passed away this Sunday, November 17, after a long battle with illness. The announcement of his passing was made by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs through an official statement.
The late artist contributed greatly to the flourishing of the artistic scene through his work as a theater actor, as well as his participation in television series and films. In the 1970s, he founded a renowned group of artists and the Association for Theater in Sahline. He likewise made valuable contributions to theatrical and television productions such as The Potter’s Daughter, Khadhra and Treasure, Dhafaier, The Scent of Anger, Gamret Sidi Mahrous, For Catherine’s Eyes, and many other artistic creations.
