The United States is disposing military troops to Saudi Arabia following Drones strikes claimed by Houthi rebels on major oil sites.

“The president has approved the deployment of U.S. forces which will be defensive in nature and primarily focused on air and missile defence,” U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper announced at a press conference.Esper told troops would be fundamentally focused on air and missile defences.

“This is a first step” in addressing a “clear message that the U.S. supports our partners in the region,” Esper added.
