Total lunar eclipse expected on March 14

According to the National Institute of Meteorology (INM), the Earth will witness a total lunar eclipse at dawn on Friday, March 14, 2025. During this eclipse, the Moon will pass entirely through the shadow of our planet.

The eclipse will be total in the Americas, the Atlantic Ocean, and certain regions of Africa. However, in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, only the initial phases of the eclipse will be visible before the Moon sets.

Accordingly, the total eclipse cannot be observed in Tunisia, but the early stages of the phenomenon can be seen before sunrise.
