A working session was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Tourism, chaired by the Minister of Tourism, Sofiane Tekaya, to review the progress made in implementing the project to simplify administrative procedures within the ministry and the various bodies under its supervision. This initiative forms part of an ongoing digital transformation process that has already been launched.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of Reforms and Prospective Administrative Studies, accompanied by a team from the general directorate, as well as heads of departments and institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Tourism. Presentations were delivered on the level of progress achieved and the extent to which interoperability with relevant institutions has been activated, each according to their respective areas of responsibility. The main challenges encountered were also examined, along with practical solutions to address them.
In this context, the Minister of Tourism emphasized that the digitization program represents a strategic choice aimed at strengthening good governance, simplifying procedures, and improving the quality of services provided to citizens and sector stakeholders. He noted that the next phase will focus on consolidating the gains achieved and further integrating high-quality digital solutions capable of enhancing procedural efficiency and accelerating implementation.
The minister also praised the central role played by the team of the Directorate General of Reforms and Prospective Administrative Studies, stressing the need to strengthen coordination and integration among the various structures at both the central and regional levels. This approach is intended to ensure optimal use and continuous development of existing digital systems, as well as to firmly establish interoperability among all stakeholders across the country.
Finally, it was decided to adopt a dedicated work schedule to monitor and evaluate the various components of the digitization program, ensuring its continuous development, the timely resolution of identified issues, and the sustained improvement of service quality.
