Tozeur expects a rise in hotel bookings for winter holidays and New Year celebrations

The Regional Tourism Delegation in Tozeur anticipates a slight increase in hotel bookings during the winter school holidays and New Year period, surpassing the figures recorded during the same period in 2024, according to regional tourism director Adel Sbita.

He stated that booking activity has been steadily increasing, with a significant surge expected in the final week before the school break. Preparations are underway among the tourism delegation, hotel operators, and various stakeholders to ensure the success of this key tourism period, which traditionally attracts large numbers of Tunisian and international visitors.

Initial indicators point to a higher influx of tourists expected to visit Tozeur, especially in the final days of the year as travellers celebrate New Year’s Eve.
Sbita affirmed that the region aims to contribute to achieving the national objective of 11 million tourists in 2025.
