After the qualification of Khalil Jendoubi since November 2023 (world no. 1 in the 58 kg category), it is the turn of his teammate Firas Katoussi who snatched his qualification for Paris 2024 (-80 kg) after defeating the Congolese Arnaud Nkoua by two rounds to zero in the semi-final of the African Olympic qualification which took place in Dakar.
For his part, Ikram Dhahri (in the 49 kg category) also got his second ticket for the Paris 2024 Olympics after his win in the semi-final over the Egyptian Jana Al Khattab by two rounds to zero.
Note that a 3rd ticket is expected tomorrow Sunday morning, with the entry of Chaima Toumi.
