On Monday evening, February 2, 2026, Tunisia’s Minister of Trade and Export Development, Samir Abid, chaired a working meeting dedicated to reviewing the progress of digitalization projects and the simplification of administrative procedures, attended by the Head of Cabinet and senior ministry officials.
During the meeting, the minister stressed the urgent need to complete these projects as quickly as possible, highlighting their strategic importance for the public interest and their alignment with national policy priorities. He called for the full mobilization of all required human and technical resources to ensure their rapid and effective implementation.
Samir Abid also urged closer coordination among all stakeholders, including central administrations and supervised bodies, in order to overcome challenges that could hinder interoperability and digital transformation initiatives. He further emphasized the critical role of data availability and accuracy in the success of digitalization efforts.
