As part of the implementation of the La Mnihla flood protection project – Phase 1, the Ministry of Equipment and Housing announced a temporary traffic diversion on Regional Road No. 31, starting from Friday, February 6, 2026, for a duration of 60 consecutive days, day and night, throughout the works period.
Traffic diversion details
For road users heading towards Bizerte:
Traffic will be diverted via the roundabout at the intersection of Regional Road No. 31 and radial road X20. Drivers must then turn left to use the road parallel to X20, continue until the intersection with Chnoua Road, turn right, and proceed until rejoining Regional Road No. 31, before turning left again to continue towards Bizerte.
For road users coming from Bizerte towards Bardo:
Traffic will remain normal with no changes.
The authorities urge all motorists to remain vigilant, comply with temporary road signs, and respect traffic safety instructions during the works.
