The local branch of the Secondary Education and Physical Education Union in Sidi Bouzid has called for the suspension of classes this evening, Monday, April 14, 2025, in all middle and high schools across the region.
This decision follows a tragic incident at the Mazzouna Secondary School, where a wall collapsed, resulting in the death of three students, aged between 18 and 19, according to Maaz Treaâ, the official spokesperson for the Civil Protection, speaking to the national radio.
Two other students were seriously wounded in the accident. They were first transported to the local hospital in Mazzouna and then transferred to the regional hospital in Sidi Bouzid for further treatment.
