Trump lays the “Conspiracy” card against Biden!

On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered an official investigation into possible illegal actions by former advisers to President Joe Biden. He accused them of concealing Biden’s actual mental condition and of having taken over some of his presidential powers—what he described as a “serious and unprecedented conspiracy.”

Investigation Assigned to White House Legal Counsel

In a statement released by the White House, Trump instructed the White House Counsel to examine, “within the bounds of the law,” whether individuals deliberately misled the public regarding Joe Biden’s mental health.

The Republican president suspects that an automatic signature system may have been used to validate official decisions in Biden’s name, including executive orders and presidential pardons.

“One of the Biggest Scandals in American History”

“We are seeing increasing evidence that some advisers used technological methods to simulate Biden’s presidential approval,” Trump said. He argued that, if proven true, this would be “one of the greatest and most troubling scandals in American history.”

He also emphasized that such revelations could call into question the legality of numerous decisions made during Biden’s presidency. “Every decree, every action possibly signed fraudulently deserves thorough scrutiny,” he insisted.

Biden Responds Swiftly: “Absurd and False Accusations”

Former Democratic President Joe Biden responded quickly via a statement sent to AFP. “Let me be clear: all decisions made during my presidency were mine and mine alone,” Biden said.

He described Trump’s accusations as “completely absurd and false,” denouncing them as an unfounded political distraction. “These claims are baseless and purely a diversionary tactic,” he added.

A Politically Charged Controversy

This controversy, unfolding in the midst of an election year, could have significant implications for the U.S. political landscape. Trump supporters see the investigation as a necessary act of constitutional transparency, while Biden allies denounce it as an attempt to undermine his legacy ahead of the upcoming election.

At this stage, no concrete evidence has been made public to support Trump’s allegations. The preliminary inquiry led by the White House Counsel is expected to determine whether further legal or congressional action is warranted.
