The investigating judge at the Tunis Primary Court has taken on the case to investigate the circumstances of the death, particularly as the body displayed signs of assault with a sharp object. One of her acquaintances has been incarcerated for questioning.
According to preliminary information, some passersby saw the girl’s body this morning near a waste container in a street near Madrid Avenue in downtown Tunis. Security officers from the Tunis City area were immediately alerted and arrived quickly.
Upon notification, a representative from the Public Prosecution Office at the Tunis Primary Court, accompanied by the investigating judge handling the case, visited the scene. Initial inspections disclosed assault marks on the neck and upper chest made with a sharp object.
