A traffic accident occurred early Tuesday morning in the capital after a heavy truck skidded and fell from the Republic Bridge near the main hall of the post office, according to a Civil Protection source.
The crash left the truck driver seriously injured, particularly in the leg. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to provide first aid before transporting the victim to Charles Nicolle Hospital in Tunis for necessary treatment.
